Do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble. (Matthew 6:34)
When we come face-to-face with our inadequacies, our failures, and our limitations, we are prone to become frustrated, worried and anxious. We do not like knowing that we cannot control all that we desire to control or that the world does not spin around us. Jesus instructed us..."Rather than focus on what you desire....turn your attention to what God desires! Focus instead on what He can enable you to do and be. Concentrate on what He has prepared for you and desires for you. He WILL provide!"
Good Morning CARMEN! Thanks for the scripture and the quote. I've been up and at 'em for a little while now. Fixin' to make breakfast for my hubby before he has to go into work at 11 today. He's still sleeping so I will wait a bit.
I took Christian to the thrift store yesterday and we got him 3 pair of sandals for .39 cent each pair. One pair was Merrill's and the other two were from Old Navy. Looked like they'd barely been worn. He loved them all and wanted to wear then all. LOL I got him a 3 pair of khaki and denim shorts for $1 each. I think I did okay. I am not good at picking out clothes at the thrift store. Something is always wrong with them when I get them home. But these looked really good. I just don't have much patience to thrift store shop, but think I did okay. I found valances for my office and both bathrooms for $1.48 each pair. They are gorgeous and were even name brand. I amazed myself.
I've already washed a load of clothes watered all my plants , taken out all the garbage and swept the carport, sidewalks, deck and patio.
Today , I am gonna rest until I pick Christian up at 4:30. I still gotta think of something quick for supper. Whatever it is is gonna be quick and easy. I made homemade chicken pot pie last night. filled up two pans and we wound up having company drop in and stayed for supper, so it was all eaten.
I hope everyone has a great friday and weekend/

Good morning Loretta!!!! You did AWESOME!!!! I love my Barrell here in Pell City. I have found so many great clothes there for nearly nothing. I have learned the art of thrift store shopping...be persistant and have time to look. It has become a sort of game with me I guess. (Maybe it is an addiction??)
You have a restful day today. Love ya!!
