OT- Question for hubby

Hi all - it's been quite a while since I've been on here.  Hope everyone is doing well.  I have a general question regarding a couple of medicines and it's for my husband, not me.  He takes a 40 mg pill of Micardis every morning for blood pressure and a 20 mg pill of Simcor at night for cholesterol .  He's been on the bp meds for maybe a year I guess and the cholesterol meds for about 6 months.    So here's the scenario - every once in a while he'll just get extremely tired and just generally doesn't feel good.  It will last for a couple of days.  This has happened several times lately and I just get worried about him.  He doesn't act like my Jessie.  Both meds are doing what they are supposed to be because he's had labwork to confirm it.   So does anybody on here take either of these meds and have you had any side affects like I've listed.  One bad side affect he has with the Sincor is he will flush extremely bad - he drinks a glass of tomato juice when he takes the medicine because, for some reason, it seems to counter affect the flushing - weird, huh???

Sorry this has been so long.  I haven't been on here in so long that I don't have any clue as to who hangs out around here anymore.

Shanon...please have your husband checked.  Medicines are what caused John to get so sick.  He was on bp meds (2) and some arthritis meds that were causing problems.  His bp dropped very very low and his kidneys were failing.  He went into seizures and would have probably died had he not been at the VA hospital with our daughter because his bp dropped to 40/30.  He had been very tired and his memory was getting bad prior to that.   Please take your husband to his doctor.  I will be praying him.

Shanon, I take Micardis 40 mg daily but take lipitor not sincor.  Every once in a while I get up and just generally feel blah. Thursday night I felt fine at our support group meeting but driving home I started feling sick and also the next day,  I don't know if it is the BP meds or not..  Hope your husband gets better soon    Linda
