Did everyone have a great easter as planned
We didn't have the best but it was great!!! We got to celebrate our Savior,Jesus Christ being alive on this very day 2000 years ago.Oh I am so thankful He died on the cross for my sins.I will never know just how painful it felt for Him to die for YOU or ME.It upsets me to know all the wrong I have done and will do (I am not perfect) Jesus has paid the price for it.What an AMAZING MAN!!!! God,I just want to thank you and shower you with all the Love I have for You because You sent Your Son to die for our sins. You shed Your blood so we can live through You Lord! I want to make the same sacrifices for You God. I want my family and I to live through You.Thank You for this GLORIOUS day.Thank You for ALL my Blessings even the small ones count because You made it possible.Thank You for the wonderful food my wonderful neighbors and I cooked and I just Thank You so much for my children you brought into my life and allowing them to Love You as much I do Lord.Thank You,Jesus for rising on this day and showing us You are ALIVE, AMEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We went to church and had an awesome service with a casket resembling Jesus has risen from his tomb.We hid Easter eggs for our daughters' to find. Then we had dinner with our lovely Christian neighbors(friends).....how about your day?? Did it go as planned? Did you have an awesome Easter? I sure hope you did!!!
God Bless!

Hi Brandy!
Sounds like ya'll had a fun day! Ours was good as well. We went to IHOP before church (as we do every Sunday) then went to church. We had an AWESOME service that surrounded a celebration of the resurrection of our Jesus Christ!
We have a medium size cross covered in chicken wire that they place in front of the church each Easter. Everyone brings live flowers and at the appointed time during the service everyone picks up the flowers and decorates the cross. It ends up being more beautiful than you can imagine! At the end of the service they take it and place it near the road. We went a little bit ago and took some pics that. I'll post on my profile as soon as download them.
This afternoon we just hung around the house resting up and getting ready for the week ahead.
Have a wonderful week!

I'm glad you had such a great Easter.
We did as well. We wish you were here to enjoy it with us.
We went to sunrise service at the Public Beach. The Engulf band played and sang and it was awesome as always!! Pastor Patrick preached and afterwards we all enjoyed breakfast at the Hangout. Then we went to our regular worship services (which have now been moved to the Fellowship hall on the south campus). It was PACKED!! We had chairs lined up not tables; and every chair was filled... 800 or more. This was Pastor Neil's 42nd Easter to preach he was telling us. We sang on stage with the band. Except Gerry and Donna they were too shy to get up on the stage we told them we'd give them a few extra weeks. I know it's different getting use to.
We had the flowering of the cross; and Jacob was apart of that during one of the songs. It was so beautiful.
I didn't cook I had a pork roast in the crock pot from the night before with some veggies. I knew getting up at 5am and going to 2 services I wouldn't want to come home to cook.
I went to bed early as I work today. And my scalp is still hurting pretty bad but nothing like it was for Jesus as he drug that cross thru town - spit upon; yelled at; then nailed to that tree.
GOD can certainly take care of this infection for me!!
I am covered by the blood! And how good that is!
Keep going to church; worship HIM and keep spreading HIS name!!!
AMEN!
