Banana Split Cake

2 cups graham cracker crumbs

3 sticks of margarine

1 box powder sugar, splenda powder sugar

4 bananas sliced

nuts

1T sugar : splenda instead

2 eggs

1 large can crushed pineapple

1 large bowl cool whip, sugar free

cherries

Layer #1 melt 1 stick margarine and mix with crumbs and
1 T.sugar press into 9x13 pan

Layer #2 Beat together 2 sticks margarine,eggs,and powered sugar with mixer for 10 minutes. spread over layer 1

Layer #3 drain crushed pineapple then spread over layer 2

Layer #4 slice bananas and spread over layer 3

Layer #5 spread sugar free coolwhip over layer 4

sprinkle with nuts and cherries

refrigerate over night.

(instead of sugar use splenda or nutra sweet)
splenda powdered sugar---pineapple in its own juice)
the only thing that is not sugar free is the cherries.
you can make your own graham cracker crumbs or  buy a box of crumbs already fixed.

i think she said that her husband was the one who made it. and if i'm not mistaken i believe he might've also been the one who did the banana pudding. am i right?

I didn't know there was such a thing, Shirley....but I have taken Splenda and put it in my little chopper and made a fine powder out of it (to put on baked sweet potatoes mixed w/cinnamon)...so maybe that would work?  I'm gonna do that when I try this recipe.
