Calgon take me away.............

I'm beat.  We've had Christian for a week while Holly has been very ill.  Praise God, she is now better and Beau just came to pick up the littleman.  I'm worn out.  Kyle has been trying to paint on the trim in the house and I've had try to keep Christian out of it.  I've just not got all the floors swept and mopped and I'm about to p ut out my new kitchen rugs and dining room place mats.  They are red, gold, taupe, green and cream. Just beautiful.  I found them at Walmart.  There are more pieces I'd love to have but that will just have to wait awhile.

Jill's prom went well last night and she and her bf Clint had fun.  Thank you all for all your prayers for me and my family.  I have felt God's presence through it all.

I[m going to my couch and vegetating for awhile.  I'm pooped.

Glad that Holly is better and while I know you enjoy having Christian around, I know you must be ready for
a rest. Those LITTLE ones can be a BIG handful. They
just seem to have endless energy!

Congrats on getting moved in your new house. You must be excited even though it is a lot of hard work. The colors for your kitchen and dining room sound nice.
You will have everything like you want it in no time
at all.

I am thinking I may watch Driving Miss Daisy here in a bit if I stay awake that long. I woke up around four this morning and could not get back to sleep--so I decided to go in and work a few hours --was at work by 6:45 this morning. After that, I cleaned the interior of my car and have since been doing laundry and ironing. I bet I sleep good tonight!

Yes, these little ones are a HANDFUL!  He's so precious and I feel so bad when I run out of energy and he wants to keep on going strong.  Bless his little heart.  He's got the best of both worlds now with us living across the s treet from my Daddy.  He's already learned to cross the road and go knocking on Pop Pop's door. He's a HOOT!

The kitching and dining room look wonderful.  I just got all the placemats , rugs and kitchen towels out.  I need to go back and get the matching table runner for my buffet and the look will be somewhat complete (at least for now)  It''s about all I can do for now I would love to have more kitchen towels in these colors and another rug or two for the dining area.  The colors are just beautfiul.  The deep red, sage green, goldish and cream is just stunning. Kyle will be so surprised when he gets home. 

We still have to order new shutters for the windows.  One is missing and another one cracked, and they are not to be matched, so we have to get new ones. Of course they are not ones that are in stock and have to be special ordered.  ugh.....  They are floor to  ceiling and then we have two other bedroom windows as well, so they will all match.

I have just folded all the clothes, an d I'm about ready to crash in the bed.  This is Kyle's late night to work.  I am so happy his job allows him to work evenings on Sundays so that he can teach Sunday school and attend Worship Service.

I've got a roast in the refrigerator that I am going to put in the crock pot first thing in themorning with some potatoes, carrots and onions for dinner tomorrow night.
