please don't think i snubbed you, lol. i'm not very outgoing so i'm sure there are quite a few people that i missed speaking to entirely. but please don't think that i was intentionally NOT speaking to you. it's sorta overwhelming to be in a large group of strangers, lol, but i'm working on it. anywho, to those i spoke to but did not hug, to those i did not speak to at all AND to those who weren't able to make it i hope to see y'all next time and if i don't seem very talkative trust me, i'm extremely approachable (right guys?) and i'll talk to anybody about anything once you get me goin'

You did just fine I thought.  You're right, it's a litle intimidating to go to a function like that where you might only know a very few or none except on-line.  For the MOST part, you can walk right up to people and say "Hey, I know you from on-line" or something like that, LOL!  And most everybody is real nice.  I remember the first one I went to, I was scared.  And I went ALL by myself, didn't have anybody to ride with or anything.

**I** think that next year we should have name tags with our avatar and screen name on them, lols!! that way we'll know exactly who we're talking to and won't accidentally snub anyone. 'cause you know, some people don't have a real pic up and we don't know their real name either. so, a "name tag" really doesn't do any good for those folks either that or else have everyone introduce themselves and tell a little bit about their journey and that way any pre-ops in attendance could kinda see who they might want to talk to before the day's over about surgery stuff, kwim?
