OT: Narcolepsy?
I am about to run out the door, but wanted to ask if any of ya'll have any knowledge or experience with narcolepsy?
I have been totally exausted since way before surgery. Ok, that is to be expected, but I should be gaining energy, since the surgery was about 7 months ago.
I was just given a sleep test (again!) including a multiple sleep latency test, which tests for narcolpesy. Just from what the tech says, I may have it. I won't know any results till next week. Does anyone have any 1st hand knowledge of this condition?
Thanks!
Bonnie

Hi Bonnie. My DD has a sleep study last spring and the tech told her the same thing, but when she saw the doctor, he said, no that she had moderate sleep apnea. I believe what the tech told Tara was that it was possibly a "light case" if she wasn't falling asleep at stop lights and such. I hope you find out the reason for your exhaustion soon. That is not a good feeling I know.
