date for RNY

finally have date for RNY surgery Date 05/01/09..have preop tests on 04/17/09....10-day liquid diet prior to surg,i'm determined to get thru it and have great success after surgery... Keep me in your prayers, please, as I go thru this

I'm having mine in Mobile at ate Infirmary...How about u . I have Dr. Jeffrey Hannon as my doc and i thoink he is a super doc Have to do preops on 04/17/09 but time will fly i hope (especially the 10 day liquid diet)  Good Luck to you on your surgery.  r u having lap or RNY..im having RNY

Congratulations on getting your date!  That is right around the corner and will be here before you know it!  Yes, you can do the diet. It will be hard, but you'll get through. Keep us posted!

Mine will be at Shelby Medical Center in Alabaster--My doctor is Rex Sherer (love him!)  Pre-op is the 27th....I don't have to do a pre-diet, but I'll be thinking of you.  I have given up sugar as of April 1st and stopped DRINKING WHILE EATING.  That has been hard to do!

We'll have to keep in touch!  Our surgery date is also my birthday!!
