Good Morning.
I'm home. I've been out of town for a week house sitting. Oh, I just love doing that. It's the idea job for me. Sitting around emptying the refrigerator, watching big screen TV, and taking naps. If I could do it all the time I would. I am so blessed. I'm still driving the school bus. I intend on retiring from that job in Nov. Still sitting with my little elderly lady,Miss Nell. She is a laugh a minute. I intend on sitting with her as long as she will have me. I have missed seeing the board and knowing whats going on but I think it makes me realize that the world keeps on turning even if for some reason I'm not involved in it. Even tho I've not been here much I have kept everyone in my prayers.
Went to the hospital yesterday morning and did my pre op for thyroid surgery next Thur (April 9). Had a few test run and chest x-rays. Feeling good ready to face the next hurdle in life. After this surgery to take the right side of my thyroid out(had the left side out March 11, later testing revealed cancer cells)I will take radiation iodine treatments. I'm feeling great and am very positive in my outlook. A lot of people on the board has been praying for me, and I want to thank everybody for the prayers , telephone calls, cards, and well wishes that have been sent my way. I've got most of my voice back and can talk on the phone some now. It has a tendency to fade in and out but it is coming along good. I just wanted everyone to know how much I appreciate each and every one of you and all the blessing I have recieved from ya'll.

Oh yes. When I see people I know they are all talking about my wonderful tan. I don't really have a tan. We've had so much rain I've rusted. Take care and look forward to seeing ya'll on Saturday. Love, Miss mary

Hey Miss Mary,
I enjoyed reading your post. I didn't realize how much you have going on in your life. We get so wrapped up in our own personal troubles till we forget that other people have problems too. I will be praying for you my special friend. I can't wait to see you Saturday and give you a big hug!!
