I hate it too! It was going to be weird without you and Bill and Debbie and Jimmy being there, but I was looking forward to it. We waited til the last minute to make the decision to go and my boss had said there was no reason I couldn't take Friday off and then BAM...SHE DIDN'T KNOW THAT THE DARNED BUDGET HAD TO BE DONE by Friday...don't get me started with her, but I do have to be thankful that I have a job with the economy the way it is and all!!!
I love it that you call you DIL your daughter in love. She is blessed to have a MIL who care so much for her. It sounds like you are going to have a house full. Is the kitchen finished?
You're right...they will have a good time without us, but it will be much quieter and not nearly as good as it would be WITH us...and Debbie and Jimmy too!!!
