xpost Please Rec, PS for TT and BA in Alabama

Hello everyone. I had surgery in August and have lost just over a hundred lbs going from a size 16/18 L/XL to 4 small. Due to my age, I have been very fortunate from a rebound skin perspective but my stomach is all loose skin from triplets and I have no breasts to speak of lol. I won't need a lift because I didn't have much to lose to begin with there and now its just gone. I am just beginning to search out Dr.'s and start consults mid May. Before I get flamed, I DO plan on waiting until Aug-Oct for plastics which puts me past my 12 month waiting mark. Can anyone please recommend a ps in Alabama.  To date, I have considered William Hedden and have an apt on May 8th in Birmingham.

I will post this on both the ps and AL forum as people tend to suggest the other...

I would personally recommend Dr. Budny here in Montgomery. He's done some work on me and I couldn't be happier with the results. He's very highly spoken of by medical doctors in town.

I'm sure there are others here who have doctors they can recommend. Congratulations on your weight loss!!

I suggest DR Meadows in Opelika hes wonderful!!! And has such a great bedside manner and has done everything he can to help me and even got my TT approved through insurance! Hes doing my work in about a week and a half!

If I remember correctly the TT was around 5,000 without insurance and done in his office, and 1,900 for the arms!

I had a consult with Dr Heddon about 4-4 yrs ago. He would not try to get me approved by insurance, he gave me a price of 5k for TT done in suite and 4500 for boobies also in suite and as a package.
I went to a consult with Dr Beckinsdale (sic) at St Vincent for TT. He got me approved by insurance. I went with him obviousely, and wish I wouldnt have. Beck ..  is one of the top PS in BHM but I felt like one of a bunch of people laid on the table. He didnt know me at all. While his bedside manner was ok, there was nothing personal in it. I am also not especially happy with the results. I have one hip that he didnt pull in enough so i have a pinch with a blob of fat around it, hard to explain :)
I did not go to many follow ups because they made me feel like a pain in the ass. Once i was healed, they didnt want anything to do with me and my scar is atrocious (sic).

I will go back to Heddon again for another boobie consult, mine have changed since then :) and his prices seemed very reasonable to me. Plus,he is just around the corner!
