1 Peter 5:6-7
King James Version
Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.
I am one of the worst people about casting my cares on him.  I do, I cry out in prayer and say "Lord, I can't deal with this problem, you have to handle it."  I'll pray and pray and then I get up, walk out of my prayer closet and boom this simple little human mind kicks in.  There must be a way that "I" can fix this.  "WHAT"??

I Just prayed and asked my Savior to fix this and now I'm pulling that situation out of his hands and trying to fix it again.  I need to learn to trust him.....He cares for me.  When you care for someone you want the BEST for them.  No one loves me any more than the Lord and he does care when things are weighing on me.  I JUST HAVE TO ACCEPT THINGS AS THEY ARE AND TRUST HIM FOR CARES  FOR ME!!
Faith is NOT believing God can.
It is knowing that God will!

Good morning my friend.  I am casting all my cares on Him because I know that if I do, HE WILL take care of me.  I needed this today.  THANK YOU!

Good morning Lisa.  Someone very dear to me told me a story once.  It is about a little boy who breaks his truck.  To make a long story short...the little boy takes the truck to his daddy and the daddy tells him that he will have to leave the truck with him as he fixes it.  However, the little boy is impatient and wants the truck.  He takes the truck back only to totally demoli**** once he has it back from his father.  I feel that I have done that many many times.  I took my problems to the Father, but I decided I wanted them back and boy did I make a mess.  I thank God, though that unlike our earth fathers, He can take our mess and make it whole again.  I love you!!!!  You have an awesome day.

Lisa, I'm one of those people who tries to help God out too. Great day. I know that He expects us to do our part but then we need to stand back and let him finish the work. We're just to used to having things done NOW and the way we want it. God's way is not our way. My heart is broken to see my daughter away from God. My little grandchildren haven't grown up in church and I do blame myself for that. I have recently started picking them up and taking them myself. In these times, we've got to have something to hold onto, especially these young one's who don't have the background we've had.

Thank you for sharing this.
