Thursday Coffee Talk

Good Thursday morning everyone!  Hope you slept good.  I sure did.  For 4 hours any way.  I'm up now and feeling great.  Gotta finish this "Case Study" paper and get it turned in 1st thing this morning.  Love school, but the work.  SHESH!  LOL  Today is going to be wet here in Alabama so be safe, wherever you are!

Our challenge today is to be thankful.  No, it isn't Thanksgiving, but it doesn't have to be Thanksgiving to be thankful.  We should be thankful for what we have EVERYDAY.  I'm so thankful for what I've got.  It may not be the best or what I want, but I don't have to have the best OR what I want.  I'm so blessed I MUST be thankful!!  We are suppose to give thanks IN ALL THINGS!!  Don't look at what you have and take it for granted.  That home you live in, it may not be your dream home, but it keeps you warm, cool, and dry.  That car you drive may be a hoopdy mobile and not that dream car, but it gets you where you need to be.  The clothes you have may not have that label sewn inside you want, but you are dressed and clean.  Learn that in all situations we are to be happy and BE "THANK FULL".  Let your thanks-giving be over flowing today!!

So, who's up this morning?  What cha sippin' on?  Me?  I'm enjoying some more of that Boca Java Boca Sunrise.  The stuff is just so good and so smooth.  Gotta love it.  Thanks Secret pal.  You are the BEST!!   It is so good in my OH Coffee Mug.  Thank you too OBESITY HELP!  For EVERYTHING!!

Good morning on this very wet Thursday.  It's sure coming down out there right now, complete with thunder and lightning.  I hope it slacks off before I have to leave for work.  I slept so well last night.  I barely made it through American Idol without falling asleep and headed straight to bed.  I've been feeling kinda tired lately...not sure what's up with that (my labs all came back perfectly normal, so no deficiencies there...probably just my hectic work/school/life schedule). 

Anyhow...another great challenge.  I am very thankful for everything and everyone in my life.  I admit that I have been blessed in my life, but I don't take any of it for granted.  We have seen many hard times and worked hard to get where we are and are very thankful.

I'm sippin' on some Cafe Bustello cappuccino this morning.  Not near as good as the Brazailian coffee, but yummy enough.

Good Morning My Buddy I am so Thankful I could bust!! I am Thankful for all of you here on OH the friends I have made here have really pulled me out of a place where I don't want to be anymore. We weathered the storm our lights have been off all night just came on !! I am sipping on Da Flogers and feeling so blessed this morning !! Love you and the Luce see Ya on the 4th  

On the 4th??  You sure you'll be up to it?  LOL  Don't overdo it and take care of you.  I am so proud for you!  I hope I can make it to your surgery.  I would love to be there for your support.  If not, know that Lucy and I are praying for you!!  WOW!  So quick!!  God bless you!

GOOD MORNING

Last year at ladies retreat one of our guest speakers challenged us to write down each day 100 things we are thankful for.  It didn't have to be great elaborate miracles.  Just the simple ordinary every day things that we have.  Warm towels, cold water, a home, a car, a job, our children, our pet's.  These things are all provided by the Lord and we forget just to say thank you Lord for these things! 

So today, I say Thank you Lord FOR ALL THINGS!  Even the trials which serve to strengthen me!

I am sipping my Folger's with two silly pups fighting the lap-top for my lap!

Good morning.  AMEN to thanking Him for even the small things.  Even the trials which DO make us stronger. 

Usually, I have Princess (queen cat) fighting the laptop for my lap.  It is too funny.  When Lucy and I 1st married, this cat couldn't stand me.  She would hiss at me and has even scratched me.  Now, she is putty in my hands!  HAHA!
