We're on pins and needles .....

waiting to close on the house Wed.   We only have one more day to go.  We have been hard at work, working on that house.  There is still SO MUCH to do.  Please pray for our nerves.  I am stressed to the max.  I know this is a GOD thing and all is going to work out according to his plan for us.  It's just too good to be true, but he is a true and faithful God and knows our every need.

We had a new guy at church Sunday who just moved to the area.  He came over tonight to replace 2 pieces of wood and a few shingles on the roof.  Kyle has been steadily painting....the kitchen and den look AWESOME!  I just LOVE it.  The kitchen is Mochachino and the den is Twig Branch. They compliment each other well.  Oh my it looks so good.  We're going with high gloss white trim.  I've found the perfect   light terracotta for the bathroom, but the blue I wanted for our bedroom is definitly NOT going to work.  I have to go back and find something else that will work. Kyle says I better get the move on picking it out cause he's ready to paint.  ha ha.

Daddy cooked dinner for us tonight.  He made collard greens and thickend potatoes and cornbread.  It was all very good.  He even had some pickled veggies my uncle made last summer that he canned.  It was so good, but of course when you're as hungry as we were, anything would be good.  Kyle ate double helpings of everything.  He got up at 6 am and went to paint on the house, then went to his job at 12, then back to the house to paint some more at 5 and worked till dark.  He fell and twisted his ankle on a brick in the yard, so please say a prayer that he will be alright.  He's just gone to bed and has to be back at work at 5 am in the morning.  He's SO VERY TIRED.  Please pray for his strength and all the stress of all the packing and moving and painting and paper signing and so on and so forth.  God is with us.  He is in control.

Thanks,

L

Oh Elle, youve been in my thoughts. I know moving is stressful, but it's well worth it in the long run. I'll be praying everything goes as planned and Kyles foot is ok!
