Support Group

I live in Marshall county and My surgeon is in Anniston. My question is , does anyone know of a support group that meets in Marshall county?  I called the local Hospital and they said you had to be a patient of there doctors to go to there's.  I have friends and cousins who have had GBS and told me I needed to find a support group. Thanks!

Hi, not sure, but is Marshall county up near Guntersville?  If so, you might check with Huntsville, and I do know there is a support group in Birmingham.  I live in Butler, Al, near Meridian, Ms, but will have to attend a support group in Tuscaloosa, as that is the closest one to me, which is an hour and half from where I live.  I am having my Realize band done in Mobile, there is a group there, but too far for me to travel for the meetings, I get off work too late and would not make the meetings there on time.  Good luck with finding a support group.  Farmgirl58
