Sneaking on at work to check on everybody and to share my good news!!!

I am FINALLY back in ONEDERLAND!! I had gained back up to 216 lbs and this morning I stepped on the scales and.....drum roll please..........198!!!!!

ELLEN the chocolate fountain didn't hurt, it must have been the shakeup that I needed!!

No, I am kidding.  I will not be going overboard.  This is the motivation that I need.  The real reason I have been losing is that I am finally sleeping through the night instead of eating every hour or two like a new born infant.  The doctor put me on a new antidepressant that helps me go to sleep within 15 minutes of taking it and I sleep all night, but it allows me to wake up if I  need to go during the night and I wake up for work feeling great!!

Gotta get back to work...lots to do.  I love you all.  Back to sneaking in and lurking!

congrats :) I really am ready to get back to my previous weight. Sometimes we forget, in my case, just totally lost it..with how we're suppose to do. Maybe we give up caring? im not really sure why or how but we do. I like you, use to get up and eat ALOT. I have broke myself from that, but i still get up quite frequently. Whats the name of the medicine your on?

Hi Hilary,

Thanks for the congrats!!  My goal was 150 and I made it to goal and stayed there for about a week and then started inching up slowly and settled for a little while at about 175...and then it kept creeping up from there.  I never stopped eating all night long, just ate sugar free popsicles until I could start eating real food again.  I gained all the weight NOT eating sugar.  I now eat sugar and I eat what I want, just don't go overboard, (except at wedding receptions in Chatom, AL, ELLEN!!!) but not eating at night is what is doing it.  I actually at two rice cakes with peanut butter and sugarfree peach perserves last night around 11:15...I was up to 2:45 a.m.  Once I take the meds I sleep until the alarm goes off at 6:00

The medicine is Trazadone...an antidepressent which helps you to relax and go to sleep.  It doesn't "put" you to sleep, but when you take it and sit or lie down, you will go to sleep or at least I will within 10 to 15 minutes.  When I keep my grandsons, I can get up when they need me, but when I lie back down, I know I will not toss and turn as I used to, I drift back off to sleep immediately.  The first few days I felt drowsy in the morning, but just for a few days.  The first few times I took it, I felt a little goofy or "high" for a few minutes, but that didn't last long, just a few days.

Good luck to you!!   SLEEP is WONDERFUL!!  This is the first time I have slept all night since my first child was born and he will be 30 years old in August!!!

Ain't Life Good. I'm glad you are finally getting some much needed sleep. I sleep good but then I don't have a guilty consciousHaHa. I try to start each night with a joke. I think about you often and hope to see you soon. Love, Miss Mary

Ya know, our Beautiful Rose, you could be in Onederland or "Tonderland" and we would think you are gorgeous and always a class act.

I am so happy for you though.  I hope each day gets better and better for you and that you know just how precious you are to so many people, including these lil' Italian girls.

Speaking of, Sydney is taking her 1st Holy Communion in May.  She has been practicing with every Ritz and Saltine she comes in contact.  I got her dress, veil, and purse last week.  She looks like a little angel but not too fancy.  I am having a matching dress set made for her American Girl Doll.  She is also getting a Mother Teresa of Calcutta doll and a rosary from Rome, blessed by JP2 before he died. It was purchased when she was born in 2001.

I'm taking the girls to Hanceville next week to visit the cloistered Sisters with Mother Angelica.  Have you ever been?  We are going to the Ave Maria Grotto as well.

Well, sleep well Connie! And keep saying good bye to those pounds.  I hope we get to see you at the "thing which must not be named" event in April.

You are just too sweet Nanci!!  I have been feeling like I am in Tonderland!

Sydney's making her first communion...oh how precious!!  What Sunday in May?  I have never been to Hanceville but my older sister has been to see Mother Angelica years ago.  I bet it is beautiful at the Grotto.  Please share when you return!

Not sure about the "thing which must not be name" event in April yet but hoping!!
