ANYONE LIVE NEAR MADISON???? I HAVE A FRIEND WHO JUST MOVED THERE!!!!

Hi Everyone,

I have a WLS friend....her name is Mari PW. and she is a fantastic woman.    She has just relocated from Texas to Alabama and she lives in Madison and knows no one except the people at her "new" job.    I was just wondering if anyone lives in or around Madison who could PM her.   She is lonely in a new state.    She is doing really good with her weight loss.....but I am sure she would love to meet some WLS people that she could hang out with.    Here is the link to her profile.   Please PM her if you live around there and maybe you could meet up with her or invite her to a open support group....I am sure she will be looking for one of those too.    Thanks so much.  We really love our friend Mari P and you guys are SOO LUCKY that she lives in Alabama now.   Thanks and God bless you all !!!!

I'm live near Madison and grew up in Madison, but I am about to move to Florida in @ 3 weeks!    Doesn't help Mari out at all...and the funny thing about this all, is that my oldest just moved to Alvarado, TX! 
You must really LOVE your friend Mari to post for her like this.  She should have others from the board to respond to your post for we have several from the Madison/Huntsville area on the Bama Board.
Nice to meet you Vivian!  Please don't be a stranger.  Visit us often! 

Thank you for responding.   If you ever visit your oldest in Alvarado give me a PM and maybe I can meet you for coffee or something.   LOL   Alvarado is about 45 minutes south of where I live give or take 15 minutes due to traffic.    Hope someone else will respond.   Mari may KILL me when she sees this.   LOL    I have only met her once at the OH Conference in Houston in Nov.   She is a hoot though and I know that if she had lived closer to me we would have ended up being great friends.   If you know of any support groups for WL patients that are open to anyone you might PM her and let her know.   I know that she will probably be up to find a support group soon.   Thanks so much for your response and good luck with your move.
