Lucy and I were talking yesterday about this issue, then today, someone mentioned it to me. We have a BEAUTIFUL state! I am so gullible and naive. I can not believe the sights that we have here in our own front yards. We went to Lake Guntersville State Park yesterday and OH MY WORD! The place is breath taking. 10 minutes from our home is the most awesome scenery and SO MUCH TO DO!
We were wondering if we had a reunion here (instead of Luverne) how many would come. There are chalets, cabins, and a lodge, not to mention SEVERAL hotels 10 minutes away. There are RV hookups, camp sights, and so much more. There is the fresh water beach and walking trails. we could ALL pack a lunch and come to have a WONDERFUL day here at Lake Guntersville State Park and hold a SUPPORT GROUP REUNION. we could just enjoy the day and fish or whatever! It is a great place for bikers to bring their bikes (motorcycles) and boats.
This thread may get me in trouble, but who'd attend? I know we have the Alabama Barriatric Reunion on April 4th, but we could do this one in late August or early September. I think it would be AWESOME! Just wondering...............

August September would be PERFECT!!!! LOL I'd be there by then!!! I was just telling my husband today about Guntersville. I DEFINATELY plan to check it out, with or without him. LOL

Vickie, I don't think so. You are staying with me. Or face the wrath of the Witch of Marshall County. I live less than 15 miles from them and I know where they live so if you want to survive unscratched you better change your plans and be quick about it.
