Hi Randall....Just an update, we are one step closer to going to bama....Dh said he is 90% sure we are going. He expects to see orders in the next 14 days. If so then he figure 90 days and we'll be there........I'm excited but a little scared.

I feel for you!
I won't let Gerry get his yet.
He has permit but he scares us so... talking on the cell; texting; IPODs.
So much more to worry about then when we began driving.
I mean, I don't let him drive while he does those things; but I'm afraid when he goes out on his own he might.
Ya know?
I'm just overwhelmed these days; I cannot handle anything else that is for sure.

Many congrats to Allison...!!  I was scared to death when Jen got hers.  We had to set the rules early and it helped.  No cel phone use at all when driving...period...  No riders unless previously approved...etc...  Good luck to you!!

Good morning. What will Allison be driving today? I'm going to be at Guntersville High School today and I'll watch for her. I'll be in the big yellow bus with number 114 on it. I;m taking a load of 4 and 5 graders over to see a play and then to the musuem. While I wait for them I'll take my bus to the shop for inspection. I took another drivers bus over yesterday. I seem to be spending a lot of time in Guntersville lately.
Tell Allison I said congratulations. And if she doesn't behave behind the wheel I'll make her walk to school. Love, Miss Mary

She can't drive to school yet.  We have to go this morning to get her a parking decal and parking spot.  SHE better behave driving.  Rules to follow...no cell phone, no texting, both hands on the wheel.  Do I think she will do this?  Yes.  She knows she better or no car for 2 weeks.  Or, no car at all.  I gave her the Kia for her birthday and she loves that car so much she wouldn't lose it.  Or would she?  HAHAHA!

Love you Aunt Mary!

Another congrats to your daughter's driving now.. I'm so worried about my daughter driving... so many destractions these days for teens, especially the cell phones and all.  My daughter will have her permit next year, so I'm already worrying about that and her driving at 16 years old.  I so wish they would move the driving age up to atleast 18 years old.

I'm sure your daughter will be a responsible driver especially if the grounds are set and if broken what the consequenses will be.
