After only 2 days
of watching carbs, I feel so much better!!! Juju, I have not stopped diet coke completely but you would be so proud of me. I have cut way, way back. I drink it in the morning. "It is my coffee". I also drink a little at night. But during the day it is water or CL.
We ate out with our oldest son last night. We went Mexican. Of course while we waited we had the chips and salsa on the table. I ate it without thought. All of a sudden I looked at Jimmy and said, "I am eating these chips and they are full of carbs". I stopped.
I hope you are not getting tired of my posting about my carb fight. It is helping me to stay accountable.

You post on, my friend. ONce you stop those drinks, you will not like them. The other day, the waitress at a local restaurant where I go all the time and always ordered diet coke, actually brought me a diet coke without asking what I wanted. I was busy running my mouth and took a drink without even thinking about what she had brought me. It tasted so bad. I was thrilled that I could not drink it. You will put them down and you are doing GREAT on your no carbs diet. I ate mexican yesterday, but ate some chips and salsa. I always have to have a bite of that salsa and of course you have to have a few chips LOL.

It is helping me to stay on focus. I really want to stop the diet coke. I just love it so much!!!! I have cut back and will continue to do so.
I made me a snack for mid morning. I took a dill spear and wrapped it with 2% cheese slice and slice of roasted chicken lunch meat. It was really good. I think if I can do this long enough that the desire for sweet will get better. I also ordered some protein last night. I read a post on the main board about some kind from Vitalady. It is called Dessert. That should say it all!! I am trying.

Post on you are inspiring me to watch my carbs a little bit better. I am going to a dietitian for my diabetes and she is helping me with my low carb diet to.Everything is a carb but fat,protein and veggies when you are diabetic and if you eat more than 3 serving of veggies you have to count them as aq carb.
You CAN do this Debbie!!! You can WIN this fight, even if it is a WIN hour by hour. You CAN do this!!!
