I need some help here please...

I need to buy something special for John today.  I know this sounds crazy...but I don't know what to get him.  Any suggestions???  Just something nice that he will enjoy.  See the problem is, he and I both need nothing and really want little.  What we want, we really cannot buy, so I need some suggestions if you all don't mind.  I am not as creative as some of you.  HELP...thanks so much!!!!

I never know what to get Leo so lately I've bought him gift cards to Bass Pro Shop, Lowe's and Home Depot. He loves outdoor stuff and when he got the Bass Pro card he gave me the biggest hug. Just an idea. I don't know what John likes but even Starbucks or his favorite restaurant - they sell gift cards.

Another of Leo's favorite things was a card I bought him with a long letter inside telling him how much apprecaite him and why.

He told me he just got that new movie after the book he read. So maybe another movie of a book he really enjoyed??
And of course, there's always coins. You know how much he loves those. I don't think he can get enough of them.
Maybe you could get him a limited edition signed by his favorite (living) author. I bet you could find one. Or look for one of them to be speaking at a BAM, church or something in the area and you could take him to that.
Daddy isn't very materialistic so he is so easy to please so I am sure you will do well.
An alone time trip without children and cell phones. If you cannot get away to a hotel - go to dinner and out for the day. Turn the cell off and don't talk about  the kids or problems. Just talk about you. Kind of like in the book Love Dare. Candle light dinner and work on getting that John college degree

That's what I am doing...the Love Dare and day 3 you have to buy something.  I wanted something to take home to him because he is still not feeling well, so I did find him something at lunch.  A chain, even though he is not keen on jewelry, I got him a chain with the Lord's Prayer on it.  It is pretty.  I got him a pretty card too.  We are gonna have an even better marriage when this is over.  You really have to think about them doing this.  Love you!!!  (BTW...he is getting coins and silver bars from the Easter Bunny. SHHHHHH, though it's a secret LOL)

I have the book. I got it in September, started it then had to stop when I had to go to stay with Mawmaw.
You are going to have so much fun and so is Daddy doing this book.
He's going to enjoy that Easter Gift!!! 

I want to earn that PhD as far as learning him.  Our marriage is great, but it can always be better.  I am learning already and having fun doing this.  I don't look ahead because I want to enjoy each day's dare and scriptures.  Love you!!!!
