I CHALLENGE you today...

to spend some time with someone you love!
Maybe you haven't seen a Grandparent, friend or loved one in awhile?
I know SONdays are a day of rest for "us", but there was a time that that Sondays were also about spending time with family and loved ones (friends).
Olivia and I are heading out in a bit to run a few errands.  Then we are going to my Mom's.  She is going to show Olivia how to fry porkchops Southern Style/Grandmomma Style.  Olivia has been learning how to cook the basics for she will be moving out on her own soon (within the month), and she wants to know how to cook.  That is what I used all of your recipes for...to build her a basic cookbook with.  Olivia is very greatful for all of the recipes that you all sent to her (us).

This is a challenge I will gladly accept. I got to see 2 people yesterday that are so dear to me and I  havent been able to see for 2 years. I will get a chance this morning to visit before they go home. I can rest after that before going to work.

Ok,I know I can do this..I shall call my friend up tell her Im coming for an afternoon movie .that way I can shower put on clean PJ's and go as I am..I had a jammie day yesterday and I feel another one today...Thanks for sharing,I love southern fried porkchops or I should say used too..we bake more now than fry..I made meatloaf,maccroni cheese,with Lima butter beans yesterday.It was pretty good if I do say so myself.I do not like boxed mac & cheese,I make mine from scratch..doing a pound cake today..Have a good visit with Mother and tell her you Love her,we love to hear that..Hugs to you,Juju

Thank you so much for your kind words to my Momma!  She is STRUGGLING with depression right now badly...I think it is b/c of the rough time she has had physically and then being in the hospital/being at home.
We don't fry alot either...that's why it's good to have a Grandmother nearby to help you out!    She showed Olivia (and I) several things we didn't know today about frying and making homemade gravy.  Although I won't be making gravy or frying meat often...at least I have learned the "southern way"! 
I'm with you...boxed Mac and Cheese is NASTY!  The only way to eat it is homemade.  I too make it homemade...and I make a mean homemade mac and cheese too!

I am going to be spending the day with someone I love very much...John.  I am staying home to recoop from this stomach virus.  I have really wanted to go to see my momma lately, but I don't want her to be sick.  I will do that next Sunday, hopefully.  Love you, Pretty Lady!!!

Awesome challenge today.
I spent quality time in prayer and in my Father's House today!! AMEN!!!!
After church, I met Sandi C. and Cynthia & her DH for lunch.
Now Sandi C. And I are plopped down on the sofa watching, Fireproof. She hasn't seen it yet.
I could watch it many, many times. Ok, I have already but I love it!

We went to church today and then Kyle headed into work.  Holly, Beau and Christian have been with me all afternoon.  I just ran Holly and Beau off so I could take a nap while Christian is asleep.  They needed to run some errands and I wanted to take a nap with Christian.  I'm going to be closing my eyes real soon.  I'm pooped.  It's been such an eventful weekend and I'm just beside myself.

Sounds like you've had one AWESOME weekend that words cannot describe! 
I'm envious that you've spent SONday with your little man...I surely wished we could have spent today with Dalton, that would have been sweet!    You are a lucky woman to see Christian so much!
