OT: Pets

You all know that I am crazy about my dog...and several of you all are crazy about your animals or fur babies.  But have you read about the lady and the chimp.....that is just crazy!!!!    It does not take a mental giant to see that she had substituted the chimp for her husband and child.  It is so sad that the poor woman could not understand that animals are wonderful, but they are not substitutes for human relationships, when human relationships are available.  it is such a sad story.

Karla I was watching the woman on TV this morning and I thought it strange the way she acted with the chimp. I thought the woman was shy a brick or two. I know we all sleep with our dogs, but that woman acted like it was her husband and the way they were showing her kissing the animal. Something just was not right there. And  the sad part was when she said she had no friends that the chimp was her only friend.

Karla, I agree, this woman needs serious help.  While I love Stormy and I would probably hurt someone if they attempted to hurt her for no reason, she is an animal.  She is not human and can never take the place of my spouse or my children.  I do understand loving your pets, but this woman has a problem.
