You can get a lot of information by just Googling "Medic Alert bracelet".  They range from strictly utilitarian (aka kinda ugly) to something that looks like jewlery (gold, expensive),

I'm going to get one...should have had one before surgery because I'm allergic to a lot of meds.  My husband is encouraging me to go for one of the gold ones as a treat for having followed all the pre- and post-op rules (*gotta* love how that man thinks!).  Mine will say something like:

RnY Bariatric Surgery 2/3/09.  No NSAIDS.  Allergic to [list]

I wear one.  Our very own DIxiechic makes them.  I ordered mine from her.  She can tell you what to put on there.

I had 2..both ordered from Dixie Chick. Unfortuneatly my dh broke the first one and a magnet at work vaught the last one and broke.
I am t6hinking about getting an ugly one..cause I know nothing will happen to it.
