What's for DINNER tonight???

I'm in the process of cooking homemade spanish rice and porkchops.  I'm using brown rice and thin sliced porkchops.  I'm letting them simmer a nice long time and in high hopes that I can eat a little bit of it.  Pork usually doesn't sit well with me but Kyle bought a whole tenderloin and had it sliced up in differents sizes and a roast.  Got 7  big packages of meat for just under $20.  Had a great sale at the store on them.  Everything  sure is smelling good.  I guess I'll fix Kyle some corn to go with it.  It's a meal in itself.

I hope you've all had a great day.  So, what are ya'll having for DINNER tonight???

We are having Chicken Florentine Casserole,  Green Beans W/ new potatoes, and Fried Corn & Rolls yummy for the tummy !!

Nothing tastes as good as being thinner feels.

I have to walk early in the morning, before my brain figures out what I'm doing.

Sounds divine.  My dinner was a bit spicier than I anticipated.  I added some jalapeno's to it and got it a little bit too hot.  The porkchops were so tender they just fell apart.  They were thin and boneless.  I did get to eat a small piece.  Everything  was wonderful.  Just spicy.

I don't think I've ever had fried corn.  Sounds good.

Sounds yummy!!

I am off to Cracker Barrell. My Secret Pal sent me a gift card. So, we are going to use it.
Jacob made a 90 on his Math test so he said we can celebrate
I will probably do breakfast for dinner. I like that at Cracker Barrell.
Have a great night!

We love breakfast as Cracker Barrell.  We just don't eat there often even though our daughter works there.  I always get the kids breakfast.  It's more than enough for me.

Left over meatloaf and black bean and coconut rissotto!! This combo didn't sound good until I made it the other day. Itv was gone in no time and hubby and kids asked for more!!

the kids have a stomach bug so I fixed some salmon patties and a baked sweet potatoe for me. The leftovers will be for lunch tomorrow.

Salmon patties and sweet taters sounds good together.  Yum!!  I just threw out 6 sweet taters yesterday.....they had rotted cause I had forgotten that I had them.  Duh...........I hate being so wasteful.

It's one of those go to dinners. James ate my leftover salmon patty so I guess it will be chili for lunch. I can't eat lunch from the cafe at work it slows down my weight loss and its not calorie or health friendly. A woman cannot live on tuna and side salad alone!
