Heat?

Thanks  Louise.  I think that I would keep it a little warmer but that big ol teddy bear gets so hot and Hannah bug takes right after him.  I am like the melting ice cube between them when we snuggle in the bed together.  TMI I know...
Love you

During the winter the heat is set on 68-70 and the ac is set to turn on at 74.  During the summer the heat is off (of course) and the ac is set on 68.  I am hot blooded.

You just wait until you have the surgery and start losing weight. I was just like you it could not get cold enough for me and now that all the fluff is gone I can not get warm enough. I would absoutely have icicle hanging off my ears and nose If I ran the ac on 68. During the summer I keep it on 78 0r 80 with the ceiling fans running.

Wow I was just wondering if that happens. I have always been hot blooded even when I was young and thin.

mine is set at 66 degrees.  I do have an electric throw that I bought at CVS a couple of years back.  My feet seem to be the only thing that gets cold, so the throw helps with that.  I do wear more clothes in the house than most people, though.

Hey Karla I do have long pants and a T shirt  on but I just can not do any work all bundled up. maybe I need to get one of those electric throws and some flannel sheets.  Its not my feet that get cold. I wear sandals the year round because of my bad foot.

Oh, I woke up with the Lab on my feet, the Bassett hound in the covers and the poodle on my side.  I think this is what is referred to a 3 dog night!

And no, not a word.

Interesting post, Louise - I'm the weird one, I guess.  Tho I do freeze ALL the time, our thermostat stays on  60 during the day, and on cold nights (like last night) I ran it up to 68.  My co-workers think I'm crazy.  But since this is a new, bigger house...I am too afraid of the cost of of keeping it warm/cool.  It has ceiling fans, and we'll use them when it's warmer, and we don't even turn on the upstairs unit.
Our bedroom is located on top of the heating unit, so it stays really really warm.  In fact, last night, I had to strip down to a tshirt & shorts when I went to bed - it was THAT warm w/the temp set at 68.

Hey Lisa. Yes I would freeze. This has been one bad winter for me. I have a good size house almost 2900 sq feet heated and cooled and with running 2 units my bill is not that bad with me keeping it as high as I do. I have 2 ceiling fans in my bedroom and they run the year round just to help circulate the heat and air. I do turn it down at night so that I can sleep cool. But I have got to stay warm during the day.  It seems the majority of people keep the heat on the cool side. I guess I am the strange one.
