Today! I had WLS that changed my life.
As with any life - good things and bad things.
I no longer have diabetes - take insulin injections or ***** my finger!! WOOHOOO!
I no longer have sleep apnea- goodbye machine - no more snoring!
I no longer have Congestive Heart Failure- yipee- I have the normal heart of a 37 yr old.
I no longer take 3 medications to keep my blood pressure down  - yep, I now have the blood pressure of a teenager!! (mine runs the same as my own teenage son! lol)
I no longer have Pulmonary Hypertension - high pressure of the lungs- this would have certainly shortened my life and I wouldn't be typing this now!

Yeah, what a difference 3 years does make!
THANK GOD for WLS!
Yes, I would do it all over again.
With an surgery their ARE risks. Know the facts, research them, and know your surgeon.
Make sure they check for leaks- and get up right away and walk, walk, walk.
YOU ARE YOUR BEST ADVOCATE!
And.. it does pay to have friends who support you- are educated- and just love you!

Go to a local support group, ask questions- listen- and keep going even after surgery! It is so important!

Thanks for 3 WONDERFUL Years!! PRAISE GOD!!
I'm looking forward to the next 3!

You forgot to add?
You have remained positive and beautiful-inside and out- during the past three years.
You have been a constant friend and supporter.
You have been faithful to yourself and your beliefs even through the tough times.
You are a special, wonderful presence on this board.

Congrats to you on your 3 year surgiversery!!

We love you, JULIE!!!

Nothing tastes as good as being thinner feels.

I have to walk early in the morning, before my brain figures out what I'm doing.
