Cruisers!!

Are you packed?  Lucy and I haven't even begun to yet.  Our lives seem to be a whirlwind since we got married and it has really slipped up on us.  Something ELSE is slipping up on us too.  HEHEHEE 

We can not wait!  WHO IS PACKED?

Momma "C" is all packed, excited and calling me EVERY day!  HAHAHA  Which she did before this cruise and I love to talk to her.  She says to tell EVERYONE in the Bama Family hello.  She loves all of you and has been trying to send out cards for special days.

Well...I have the suitcases out and the capris and t-shirts waiting to be packed.  I have to decide which outfit for the captain's dinner.  I am sooooooooo excited to get away.  This is gonna be a great trip and you know...I think most everyone that is going needs to get away this time and rest.  I love y'all!!!!

Okay seasoned cruisers.......I will need capris and t-shirts and just one "dressy" outfit for the captain's dinner?????  or do I need things "a little dressy" for dinner each night?  Can you tell I am not packed???  Of course I just unpacked from the wedding.  I will get it done.

Hey there!!!  I have been on 4 cruises so far and each time I pack a little less.  Yes...I will probably take a pair of black slacks and maybe brown and dress tops or something to wear on the other dinner nights.  Other than that....it is very very casual for me.  I may take a dress that I have bought and never worn.  I took 6 pair of shoes the last time, but I think I am only taking 3 this time.  I did not use them all.  One black pair, one pair of flip flops and my tennis shoes.  I am learning less is best.

Just dress for comfort and fun. There is the Captain's dinner or Formal dinner as some call it.
Even during that dinner you will see everything from casual to Evening Gowns and Tuxes...I always pack
a long formal gown for that evening--the other nights in the dining room, I usually go for dress pants and a variety of tops. You can easily take several tops to wear with one or two pair of black pants and you can get away with wearing them more than once if you don't keep them on a long time. Of course, there is always the option of eating at the LIDO buffet and not going into the dining rooms. I have done that--especially on port days when you are late getting back on the ship and are just too tired to prepare for a dressy dinner.
Just remember--It is all GOOD and FUN. You are on vacation and you make it what you want it to be!
You are going to have so much fun and I can't wait to hear your story when you get back!
I wish I were going...but not this time. Maybe next year I can join the fun again!

Believe it or not I am packed and setting on go. Now if I can get that son and the dil in gear. I have told that boy things that he needs to do and as of last night he had not done it. Oh well, if not then its his fault. I am ready for me some warm sunny weather. I know where I will be for 2 days, on the deck in a swimsuit with Mama C.
By the way has anyone booked any excursions? And can you recommend any?

Debbie,the captain's dinner is a dressy nite,the rest is up to you,semi dressy will work.Me, I like to dress every nite,this is the only time I ever get to wear my fancy clothes,like Carmen said less is more.I always take to many clothes & shoes for everyday,this time i am cutting back,just 6 bags going this time
