Quick Praise Report
I know the last few times I have posted it has been to ask for prayers because I have had some depression and have really been down on myself with my eating issues and began suffering what now seem to have been migraine headaches.
Well, thank you to all who have kept me in your prayers. I am proud to report that my Dr. has put me on Migraine meds and also an additional antidepressant at night. I started on them on December 23 and have lost 6lbs since. 6lbs through the holidays!!! That is awesome. I had gained up to 210 at one point, but I was at 209.8 on Dec 23 (this is just before my bath/sans clothes) I weighed 212 at my PCP's office with clothes on. Mine are digital and always are the same when I weigh (with clothes)just before going to WLS surgeon who has digital top of the line scales. My PCP's have the kind that you slide the weight on top. Anyweigh!!! I now weigh 203.8 and I eat what I want and I ate what I wanted throughout the holidays. I took a bite of anything that I wanted.
What is happening is I am now falling asleep and getting between 6 to 8 hours of sleep and not getting up to eat every couple of hours or hourly like I was. I have also given up my chocolate pure protein bars. They were a trigger food for me as was the quaker mini popcorn flavor rice cakes. I was going through those and bananas like crazy.
I had to share, but now I've got to go and feed my DH!!! I love you all and I hope to be able to get on line this weekend. I haven't been able to get on at all at work today and just a little lurking here and there a couple of times this week. Six month financial report due and only a week to get it done with six other people coming to me (office manager) with every little problem, with my boss being the worse, but PTL...the week is over and I am going to stay away from the computer tonight and VEG in front of the TV until I fall asleep.

Hopefully the new meds and the postive attitude will push you up into a better year! 2009 is going to be great!! Now you attend those meetings with Lee and Sandy and continue with your support. We all need it!! You taught me that.

Thanks for the hugs Julie! You are so right sleep does do wonders. Haven't slept through the night like this in 20 to 30 years! I feel wonderful. I am looking forward to starting the meeting with Lee and Sandy and am so grateful to them for taking them on. I am so glad you were such a good student. :-) Love you too! Thank for the prayers. My three GS's just came so I've gotta go.
