Looking for a DR?

Not for me.  One of the guys here in the office is looking for one.   He had a stent put in last week and his cardiologist is going to refer him to have WLS.  He needs it so bad.  He is scared.  I told him not to be scared because GOD will take care of everything.  Any suggestions?

Stacy I am going to suggest Dr. Freeman. Anniston is less than a 2 hour drive from Montgomery. Dr. Freeman has had quite a few from your area that he has done surgery on. Also Dr. Freeman is a Center of Excellance. Some insurance companies is looking for that now.

Stacey...that was wonderful advice you gave him.   I would also recommend Dr. Freeman.  He is a great surgeon.  This man will be in my prayers.  Please keep us updated on him and tell him about OH.  He could get a lot of support here. 

When i first talked to him about it almost 2 years ago he wasnt ready.  With all his health problems coming up he is finally ready.  I have told him about the website and told him about the support group meetings they have in Prattville once a month. 

Hi, Stacy. Not sure how far your friend wants to travel, but i love Dr. Touliatos. He does surgery at Trinity Medical, which is also a COE. Whoemever he chooses, I wish him the best of luck in getting approved and on his way to better health.

Well I have not had surgery yet still in the long progress. I know lots of people that have had WLS and used Dr. Bradley Bilton in tuscaloosa, Alabama

I'd recommend Dr. Freeman in Anniston also....he's really great...he's had the surgery his self!
I had my gastric bypass 4 months ago, have lost 81 pounds so far.  No complications.

The hospital is directly across the road from his clinic...i liked the fact you could get everything done at his office, including pycologist, and walk across the road to the hospital for pre op....very orgainized!
