Vitamin question
Which vitamin is it that you arent suppose to take at the same time as the others?
I take my iron 3 times a day. and try to take a calcium with it in the morning (along with my multivitamin and b12) and at night, beacuse im back on iron infusions. She told me my iron was a -1. I dont understand how it can be a negative, but i'll find out tomorrow hopefully. i just wanted to make sure I needed to be taking my iron by itself.
Just wondering.
Thanks.

Hi Hilary. It is iron and calcium that you should not take together. I was told it should be at least 2 hours between the two. I know this not because I take my vitamins like I should but because I did the research!!! It is a "do as I say not as I do" situation!!! But I am going to try to be better in 2009.
Hope it helps. Here is my vitamin regimen.
Early morning when I rise: Prenatal multi-vitamin and a B-12 sublingual.
Mid morning: 2 calcium citrate D
2 PM Calcium citrate D plus B 12
Evening: Prenatal multi-vitamins
So far this has worked for me. Sometimes, just for energy jI slip a B12 under my tongue. But I live right, eat right and try to watch my alcohol and carbonation intake.
