She hasn't been feeling well and she has a lot of work to finish up at school.  The worse time for people in public schools is the week before major holidays.  I know that she would appreciate your emailing her and telling her that you miss her.  However, she has a lot on her mine with Jill's wreck and the preparation of Christmas for her family.  But she would love to hear from you and know that she was missed.
