Monday Coffee Talk

Wishing everyone a wonderful morning!  I hope everyone's week goes well.  It's certainly cold outside, but I do love me some cold weather (I'd choose it over the heat and humidity of summer anyday!).

Great challenge today.  At my age (45...and not ashamed to tell), I am pretty sure I know WHO I am and don't have the time nor inlcination to pretend to be anything other than myself.  I try to be true to myself at all times, but we all need reminders now and then to check ourselves when it comes to what we stand for.  I made peace with someone from this board yesterday, and it felt good.  I had unintentionally offended someone and we worked it out amongst ourselves....without airing it out for everyone to see.  That felt good.   

I'm up sipping on a cappucino.  My husband overslept...good thing I wake up early without an alarm these days so he was only 10 minutes late out the door.  I sent him packing with a nice strong cappucino too...for the road.

Give and extra hug to Skeeter for me....I would soooo love to have a border collie.  They are such intelligent dogs.  But no dog for me until I finish school and have adequate time to devote to a one...it wouldn't be fair to get one now as busy as I am with school.  But one day....I will have one.
