I call my son to wake him up at 5 every morning. He ask me to call himat 3 this morning. He was going into work early because of taking me on a trip tomorrow. I couldn't sleep last night(I guess ya'll figured that out already, I think I posted every hour on the hour all night) I called him at 3 and it went right to voice mail. So I myself dressed and was going to drive 10 miles and wake him up in a way he would not like. My car doors were frozen shut. I came back into the house and got my small crow bar and popped it open. Cranked it up and it wouldn't go. It is 20 years old and has a sluggish transmission and when it gets cold it takes it a minute or two before it will go in drive. 15 minutes later it still wouldn't move. Shannon called and said he was up and thank you. I came back into the house. A 5:45 I went out to crank my school bus even tho I'm not suspose to crank it before 6:00( only allowed to warm it up 5 minutes because of gas prices) Got out there and the front doors was froze shut couldn't get them open. The back door is over 3 feet off the ground and I can't get on the bus without a step stool. I came back in the house got my step stool carried it back in the cold and the back door was froze also. Came back in the house and got the crow bar and popped the back door. The bus cranked right up because I keep the motor plugged up in cold weather. So by then it was 6:00. I leave at 6:05. I believe I had to wait for half the kids on my route this morning. I let that group off at the school and picked up 30  high school boys to carry to a different school. And they had a passing gas contest. I do believe a couple of them did more than pass gas. Then I had to gas my bus and 4 other bus in the cold.
Now I can't go to sleep. So I'm going to stay on the board all day bothering everybody. I may even get so bored that I do housework, Naw I ain't never been that bored. I hope everybodys day is better than mine started out. Love, Miss Mary

I wish you would just come on down here and have lunch with me.  Well...I know that is quite a drive just for lunch, but I would give you a big ole hug and we could just talk.  Anyway...know you are hugged this morning.  I love you, Miss Mary.

God bless you Mary you deserve better.  If you can't sleep at home come over here your room is ready.  Lacey and Princess will snuggle to you to help you relax.  They're helping Glenn right now but they don't mind changing beds.  I can wake you whenever you say for the next bus run while having a fresh pot of coffee to start you off.  We need to invent an electric blanket for that bus door then you could retire.       It should be a law that no one has to be out at that time of morning.

We love and appreciate you Mary.

I broke down and got myself a new electric blanket which I used for the first time last night...speaking of electric blankets.  It should be a law that I don't have to leave the bed for a week!   Starting Monday, of course.

My sister's dog is sick...speaking of dogs.  He throws up everything he eats so he is off to the vet today.

Mary does deserve better.  I think, since Shannon wakes up so early, thanks to his loving Mom, he should come over every morning, make Miss Mary some coffee, serve her breakfast in bed and warm up the bus for her.  Of course, we would need to find Shannon another method of waking up too so Mary can sleep longer.

No, really, I would prefer that Mary just win the lottery and be able to sleep as long as she wants, have a butler to bring her breakfast and coffee and have her life free so she can come and take us all out to dinner!

But...she has won the lottery, she has everyone here who love her!  Ok, that won't make her feel better at 3am...

Love you!

Get thee behind me Satin. Don't tempt me with Lacey and Princess. they are the best bed buddies I ever had. They are so quite and still. Not like my cats. All that is keeping me sane is the thought I will not have to do this next winter. Only 10 months and 3 weeks and I'm retiring.
Take care and I'll see ya'll one day this next week. Love, Mary

Are you going to be me today?  They will probably enjoy it  I think you and I as a team would send them to Crazy-ville

Nothing tastes as good as being thinner feels.

I have to walk early in the morning, before my brain figures out what I'm doing.

I just came from picking up garbage the third time in two days. They won't get it again, I tied my garbage can to the porch and padlocked it. They may tote off the whole porch but they won't turn the can over. I'm going to send my neighbors a letter and tell them if their dogs come in my yard again I'm going to shoot them. Not the dogs the neighbors. It's not the dogs fault they are hungry and allowed to roam. The people who "own" them are at fault. I've got some new neighbors and the dogs got under his trailor and tore out all the duct work. He told all the neighbors to keep their animals up or he would shoot them. I told him he wouldn't shoot my animals because he would have to come in my house where my cats stay and the shooting could go two ways. He said he was sorry he was just upset. I told him I don't have any dogs and if he would kill the black one that bit me I would buy the bullets.  I hate to see these animals killed but it is getting dangerous to walk outside. I had rather see them shot than to starve to death. Living out in the sticks like I do we have no animal control at all. People get a cute little puppy but its not so cute when it weighs 70 pounds so they just abandon it.
That is my next outside project a fenced in yard. Which of my good friends is good with a post hole digger. Good exercise. Fun and good for you.
I've griped enough I'm going to do a little work. Thanks for letting me veny. Love, Miss Mary
