Thank God for dirty dishes
They have a tale to tell
While others may be going hungry
We're eating very well.
With food, and health and happiness
We really shouldn't fuss.
By this big stack of evidence
God's been very good to us.

I say this little prayer every time I do dishes.
And I wash dishes at least once a week.
Whether I have a whole sink full or not.
