Friday Coffee Talk
Good Friday morning everyone. Hope you slept good. I've been up since 2:30 a.m. I have cooked breakfast for Lucy and my Mom and have also done laundry. I've cleaned the stove eyes too. HAHA! As soon as Lucy goes to work, I am laying back down and trying catch a nap. I am going shopping with my momma in a little bit but not your usual Black Friday shopping. I'm going with her to pick herself out a car. She needs one and it is time to go get her one. She is excited.
Our challenge for today is to do something for you. Most of you are out and about shopping so this one will be easy. You cooked hard for your families yesterday and you had to clean on top of that, so today is a "You Day"! Treat yourself to something good!
So, who's up? What cha sipping on? Lucy, Momma and I are enjoying some wonderful Peppermint Mocha Coffee. Sure is good too!

Good morning. I am up hoping to find a deal on a laptop online this morning. Need one for school. Not too many good deals online unfortunately. But that's what I am doing for ME! today. I am going to buy me a laptop.
Not sippin on anything just yet. Getting ready to fix me some Starbucks coffee. Enjoy car shopping with your mom (I think I would rather visit the dentist than deal with car salesmen...lol). Oh well, try to enjoy it for her anyhow.

Hey Sandy...I just wanted to let you know (thanks to your Black Friday links)...I was able to find a good deal on a laptop for my step daughter at Office Depot. Unfortunately...it was an instore deal only. They opened at 6 instead of 5..so that was a little better. We got up and left about 5. Good thing we did...we stood in line for about 45 min. They came out about 15 min til 6 and started handing out vouchers for the door buster specials. They handed out a voucher for the quantity they had in stock. If you got a voucher, you were guaranted the item. We got her a HP laptop for $349. There was only one more voucher after we got ours! She's gonna be so excited. She started taking online classes this fall and really needed one to be able to work on homework, etc during lunch at work. We really prayed about being able to do this for her. We knew she needed one but wasn't sure if we could find her a descent one within our budget.
I think Best Buy had a similar one for $379. I'm not sure if it can be purchased online or not. Good luck....

No, that Best Buy deal wasn't offered online. I am in Atlanta for the weekend and there's no way I was camping out at the Best Buy up here. Waaaay to cold for my blood. I haven't found my laptop yet. My husband is still looking online for me. There's also Cyber Monday, when online retailers run their big holiday ads so maybe we will find one then. I have until classes start again in January so it's not like I am in a huge rush to get one. I just WANTED and hoped to be able to find a good deal today. Sounds like you lucked up.
