CONFESS! Who else did it?

I went out and got my Fraser Fir tree tonight.  I'll decorate over the weekend.  But the tree is in the house and it's beginning to SMELL like Christmas!

We are planning on doing our tree this weekend.  I can't wait.  I want a real one, but Lucy has a prelit tree.  FIRST time EVER that I don't have to fight lights!!  WOO HOO!!  LOL  I LOVE the smell of a real tree.  Don't you just love the "smell" of Christmas?

I do love those SMELLS of Christmas!  I couldn;t wait to get the tree in the house.  You know how it is being a church musician - from here on out I will have NO free time!  If I don;t decorate this week I won;t be able to enjoy it!

On that beautiful mantel (sp?) of yours...why don't y'all get some fresh garland?  It will make the house "smell" like Christmas.  You can usually (last time I knew you could...) get it at Lowe's.
Just a thought.

Lowe's has TONS of fresh greenery - wreaths, trees, garland, and then bouquets of "mixed" balsam, pine, etc.  I love me some Lowe's!!!

Hi John, Didn't get a tree up yet,but did get my first Christmas card today from my niece in SC. It was beautiful! The stores are ready for Friday morning: David wants me to get up early and go to the new Pro Bass shop in Leeds. Thats a good piece away from here. He wants a bow case, but he don't want to know he has gotten it for Christmas. LOL!!! Have a Happy Thanksgiving! Ellen

I'll tell you, I went to Meridian today to get Biscuit his Thanksgiving grooming, and the stores were packed!!!  There is no recession down here!

Do the smells get you too>  If not, Yankee Candle makes a pine scented candle that smells like real trees!  Today I also saw Christmas Wreath and Balsam and Greens scents too.  You can still enjoy the season!  (One of my other trees, is a 60's aluminum tree WITH the original color wheel!  Yeah, I put up multiple trees.....)
