Thanksgiving Day Coffee Talk

I'm ready for a road trip. In fact I'm going on one Dec. 6. My son and daughter in law are taking me for a weekend in Gatlinburg. Otherwise I would drop everything and go to Logans (or anywhere else)
I give everyone there  permission to tell tales or just plain out and out lie about me. I'm sure they would be a lot more interested than the dull life I lead. Love, Miss Mary

Sounds like another great day at the Culpepper house.  I know you and Lucy are looking forward to the day and to this first  Holiday season as a new family!  I wish your family the best.

As for sipping....don't know about that--but I soon will be up and on my way to the kitchen
for a Diet Coke. 

No cooking going on in this house today.  We have all decided to go over to one of the
State Parks for their Thanksgiving lunch buffet.  We have done this in the past and enjoyed
the food and the family as well as enjoying the natural beauty around us in the park.
And--this way, no one stresses over the cooking and cleaning!  It is a win-win situation!

I am so thankful that God never leaves me.. he keeps me smiling and blesses me every single day. He always knows when I need a friend.. whether it be with my daily hug, my texts, my phone calls, emails, my Church, my family, my friends.. GOD is ever present as I have surrounded myself with his angels!! I am just so blessed!!!

Teddy made us some Banana Foster's Float by boca java this morning!!! YUMMY!!
And the house smells so good.. Brandy is cooking a HUGE meal.. but we are going over to my cousin's house today. WE are having seafood gumbo, fried shrimp, fried turkey, broiled turkey, baked turkey and all the fixings!!! I had fried turkey at their house for the first time last year. Just abit but it was my favorite. And you can't have Thanksgiving on the coast without seafood!! So they get fresh seafood and make the most gumbo I have ever seen but YUMMY!

I'm watching the parade with my family!! I love the parade!

I'm having Thanksgiving in Atlanta with my sister and her kids.  I am so blessed to be spending this time with them.  I also was surprised to find out just yesterday that my younger sister and brother will be joining us this afternoon for Thanksgiving dinner.  I haven't seen either of them in ages since they live so far away.  So I am doubly bless today.

I sipped on some Starbucks coffee this morning...don't know the flavor, but it was good.  Now I am sippin on some homemade lemonade that the kids made for us.  It's really good.
