Christmas cards

Hello all,

Yes I am a lurker, but every year I send out Christmas cards.  This is something I think is a dying art.  I can still remember as a child, my Grandparents getting all the pretty cards, I still continue the tradition.  Even with the cost of stamps, I think it is still nice to get a card from someone just to say "thinking of you" or "Happy Holidays"!

Anyway, long story short, I would love to have the names of soldiers to send the cards to.  My DH was in the Army and he said they were all like a bunch of children on Christmas day, when it came to getting mail.  So, if anyone has a list, names of someone special, or just where I can find the info I am looking for, could you please post?

Happy Holidays,

If you'll look back a week or two in the posts, someone had put an address where you could send cards to soldiers in the hospital.  Walter Reed?  If I find the info I will certainly pass it along!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Hey there!  Such a sweet thing to do.  I don't have the addy right here with me, but I WILL get you one of a young man that would LOVE a card!  He is away from home for the first time in Alaska.

Thanks for the replys all.  The Walter Reed thing was a hoax, I think.  Snopes.com I think did a story.  I did find one place that is doing a card thing.  The red cross.  If anyone else wants to join, just go to redcross.org and click on Holiday Mail for Heros.  The thing is our freedom is NOT FREE, I just want to send my Thanks to all that serve.

Thanks
