Sorry I didn't get back to you about brining my turkey. This yearI cheated and bought  LIQUID brine from Williams sonoma. Thawed and cleaned the turkey, put him in the brining bag ( also from WS) and popped it in my cooler with ice.

Makes me miss my ****atiel.  She died after the fire due to getting smoke in her lungs.  We wanted her to learn the Andy Griffith theme so one weekend when they did the marathon on TV Land and she learned it.  We were so proud!!  The name Gomer made me think of her.

Anytime you get lonely, Max Earl and Loretta Delle can come for a visit  Max sings LOUDLY every time Miss Loretta gets in the feeding dish (which is often)

I just missed him singing his "cops" song only using bad bird instead. Thanks for watching. you probably heard the dove in the back ground cooing too.
