A Texas Thanksgiving!

Just wanted to drop in and wish you all a very happy, healthy and safe Thanksgiving ! Rich and I (along with Buddy and Tiny of course!) will be leaving around 4am tomorrow morning heading out to Ft Worth. This will be Tiny's first trip back since we brought her home with us in March so I'm anxious to see how she reacts to her sisters and brother she left behind. Buddy is all excited and a little stressed because he knows when the suitcase comes out somebody is going somewhere!! He keeps following us from room to room dancing around.
My sweet MIL (Rich's step mom) will be coming back with us to stay for a couple of weeks. I'm really looking forward to spending some time with her. She has 6 sons and no daughters so she has adopted me because she says I'm more fun than her other DILs.
Enough babbling, gotta get some packing done before church time.
I love you all!

p.s. Don't forget to eat smart tomorrow! Declare your house a 'no dumping' zone. LOL

Funny Corn! That is something I've never done before but if I ever get the chance I sure will! The area where the inlaws live has tons of cutting horse farms but not that many cows right around there.

Hmmmmm......Wonder if horses can be tipped???

Is your husband from Ft. Worth?? My DH is from Odessa, but spent high school years in Ft. Worth. His grandmother, who raised him, still lives there and we are visiting her and my step daughter at Christmas.

Hey Karen!
Yes he grew up in Taylor (not Tyler) and Ft Worth. Then he lived in St Pete for 17 yrs before we got married. I love Texas!! This is the 3rd time we've been out there since we got married.
