What's really important in this life?

Julie,

I worry about your grandmother. I know how hard this has been on my body and she's older and I'm sure its much harder to fight. Thankfully I had the last of the really mean chemo yesterday. They call it the red devil. It's a red dye they inject into your port and it really lives up to its name. I lost my hair after just my second treatment but my wig looks so good that most folks don't even know. Tell your granny that I'm praying for her and I understand what she's going through. I know that with God on her side she's going to come through this victorious.

I love you girl. I love the fact that wheny ou face your physical battles you know where to turn. It's so comforting to have God to call on.

Much love,
DebbieDoo

Well Ms Nuggets, I have to tell you that I do truly love you. I haven't met you but you have made me smile on many occasions and I appreciate that so much. Don't be cursing folks now - that's not very nice!! Even when they make you mad. Just say, "bless their heart". We'll know where you're coming from.

I saw in one of your posts that you live around the Montgomery area. How about us getting together sometime for tea or coffee. What do you think???

Love,

I had no idea that you were ill.  So sorry to hear about it.  I have been through chemo twice with each of my parents and know how tiring and uncomfortable you get.  I hope things go well for you and will keep you in my prayers.

It has indeed been a rough couple of months but I know I have to go through this to beat it. They treatment wouldn't be so bad if they had not found cancer in my lymph nodes. Just 8 more treatments and I'll be done. That puts me finishing up around the end of March. Sheesh, seems like such a long time.

Thank you for your thoughts and prayers. They are truly appreciated.

Love,
DebbieDoo
