O my!! That sounds soooo good!! Shrimp.....Unusual...hmmm love shrimp but never had it for Thanksgiving.....Unique.I love a honey ham but the homemade SF cranberry sauce sounds so delicious.I wished I had that recipe. We will have alot of left overs as well we just might have to donate some to a food bank. We are always able to eat on our feast for 4 days. Hope you have a very Blessed Thanksgiving!!!

One 12-ounce bag whole fresh Cranberries
¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 cup Splenda Granular
Empty the preserves into a heavy saucepan and cook over medium low heat for 3 to 4 minutes until the preserves soften and melt. Add the cranberries and cinnamon; stirring constantly while mixture comes to a boil over medium high heat, cooking until berries begin to pop. Reduce temperature to low and simmer 15 to 20 minutes until sauce is glossy and thick – crushing the berries against the side of the pot with your wooden spoon. Stir in the Splenda and cook 5 more minutes before removing from heat to cool.
Transfer cooled mixture to a covered bowl and chill until ready to serve.

Hi Phyllis,
That sounds o so good. Lots of food to eat.Hope there will be a lot of people to eat all that wonderful food!! I always have turkey for Thanksgiving and honey baked ham for CHRISTmas. I love the turkey and ham so much that WHEN I do visit my family I make sure I take some left overs home.I don't like for any food to go to waste because so many out there are starving. That is probably why I am so heavyset...LOL. Hope you have a Blessed Thanksgiving!!!

There will be lots of folks to eat (and all are picky eaters, that is why we have such an assortment of food). Some will not eat ham, some will not eat turkey and others will not eat dressing (but what is Thanksgiving with out dressing). I am sooo excited. Everyone is coming to our house. This is the first time in years that everyone is coming to our house. I love to cook for people!! So much to do!! Going to get started after church. Checking the cabinets, fridge & freezer to make sure I have all ingredients for the dishes I am preparing (I am making everything except baked beans. caramel cake & cornbread salad). Happy Thanksgiving!!!!
