Yes I have had this problem.  I was having to take a medication that upset my stomach for about 2 months.  I would have to eat and drink at the same time and it led to snacking.  Fortunately I was able to stop the med's and went back to not eating and drinking at the same time and it helped.  But I will tell you that when this demon gets on you, start drinking more, maybe coffee or something that is enjoyed sipped slowly.  Hope this helps.

I have been having prob with snacking as well, esp when I am at work and stressed to the max. My job is a fast paced always talking and dealing with "people" usually huge company's executives and VIPS so it can be challenging at times and when I stress, I eat. We have been so busy at work this week they have not even allowed us to have lunches which have given me the chance to pretty much get back on track thank God. I am planning on doing so much better and getting this last 12 lbs off!

Oh, yes!!!!  I know whereof you speak!  I make myself drink a glass (bottle) of water FIRST.  Then if I still have to have something, look for fruit or cheese (lofat, of course).

When that snack demon isn't at your house, it must be at mine!! Chewy Pecan Supreme cookies from the cookie shop in the mall call my name at least once a week!!! Thankfully I haven't gained over 3 lbs at a time and then I kick myself in the butt (which isn't easy with one bad knee) and try to get back on track.

Look for a PM from me.
