Hmmmm.....why CAN't God make her happy?  Good question!

Why is there evil in the world? Is God able to destroy evil? Is God willing to destroy evil?

If he is willing to destroy evil but not able to do so, than he is not omnipotent/all-powerful. (If he is not all-powerful, how could he create the universe?)

If he is able to destroy evil but not willing to do so, than he is malevolent. (Basically, he does not destroy evil even though he can, therefore he allows it to exist which would make him evil.)

If he is both able and willing, than whence cometh evil? (If he wants to destroy evil and he is able to destroy evil, than there wouldn't be any. But there is.)

If he is neither able nor willing, than why call him god? (If this is true, than god is pathetic and on the same level with human beings. In this case, why would you worship him?)

Now, you can say that he created humans with free will and free will caused sin, but it is still in essence caused by god. If god made everything, than he made evil. Also, you would think that if he was all-knowing then he would see what would happen if he gave free will to humans. If he didn't know, then he is not all-knowing.

So, where does this leave God? Two possibilities present a situation where he could not exist. One supposes that he is pathetically weak, and the final presents that he is evil.

i have not doubt in the fsm. i have proof of his existence.  look at the lower evoled noodles from this state.

Now this is what I'm talking about!  You've voiced your viewpoints, very validly, without talking about the OP's personal appearance.  I happen to like what you've said here, and often wonder the same things.  These are the kinds of discussions I can relate to.

You know what?  I NEVER put anyone down and I won't you but.................

You are the most pitiful person on earth it seems.  I feel so sorry for you.  The bible says that EVERY knee SHALL  bow and EVERY tongue SHALL confess that Jesus Christ IS LORD!  It may not be now, it may not be in a month, but at SOME point in your life OR during the great judgment AFTER the Christians are ruptured away (yes I believe in God and HIS WORD), but YOU WILL BOW TO HIM AND YOU WILL DECLARE THAT HE IS GOD!  I can guarantee this!  I love you but you are nothing but a trouble maker and I pitty you.  Yes!  I pitty you.  I am tired of you coming to "YOUR ALABAMA BOARD" only to bash people.  You NEVER post or reply to anything good.  As "la_cadena"  told someone else, you remind me of the bully jumping on the fat kid in school because you feel insecure.  Let Brandy post what she wants to post and if you don't like it, jump off this board and stay on YOUR R&R Board.  You know this isn't like me, but I am FED UP!!  I am about to leave myself because of this mess!  God is LOVE and I DO love you, but girl, get yourself a life and leave Brandy's alone!  Stop ridiculing her!  She IS human and SHE DOES have feelings!!  This is a public forum and we are all here for support.  Not this kind of garbage.  I know it isn't a "Christianity Forum" either, but MOST of this board is made up of Christians and that is the way it is.  Deal with it.  We don't usually go over to the R&R board posting scriptures and bashing with our bible verses now do we?  Most of us have lives.  Let's just live those said lives and move on.  God love ya kiddo!  So do I!

Oh!  And yes!  God did know that He created Satan, the devil, hatred (that would one day try to rule this earth) and sin.  He KNEW that HE would give MAN a FREE WILL to choose too.  That free will belongs to all of us.  Hell was NOT created for US.  When Lucifer, the angel, was created, God made him beautiful.  He was so beautiful to look at that he himself thought he was like God and would make himself like God.  When he thought himself as equal as God, God threw him out of heaven and created a place of torment for him because NO ONE is equal to God.  God knew this WOULD happen, but he hated it.  That is why hell was created.  God knows evil exist, but in the life to come (after the rapture of the saints) there will be nothing but peace.  Heaven is a beautiful place.  We have a free will to choose where our EVERLASTING LIFE will be....heaven or hell.  The choice is ours/yours.  Where will you spend eternity?  I can promise you this...it will be one of the 2 above.  There is no alternative!!!

WHY won't God do away with evil?  This is a very good question. Since evil entered the world through the hand of man rather than God, God cannot be the source of evil. The only way to get rid of evil then, is to get rid of the evil-doers. But this is something God won't do....at least not yet.
Why? Because it violates man's freedom. Man was created with that free will that I just mentioned above! This does not mean that man is free to do whatever he wants. In other words, this freedom is meant to be a commandment to love God and AND our neighbors. Put another way, man is free to obey or disobey God, but obedience leads to life and disobedience to death.
Going back to the book Genesis, God created man for fellowship and communion.  This was/is a love freely given between man and God. If this love were not given freely, than the freedom we possess would not really be free. It would be coercion and God would be Coercer instead of Father.  BUT LET ME TELL YOU!  I call Him Father!  LORD!  His blood has washed my sins away and I am so glad/thankful that I have the freedom to call him Lord. It helps to understand how evil really works. In theological terms we say that evil has no ontological reality/nature of being. What this means is that evil doesn't exist except as a distortion of the good. The greater the distortion, the more radical the evil. Think of it this way. Evil is like a cancer. Cancer overtakes the good cells. It draws from the life and energy of healthy cells and twists and distorts them. Evil works the same way. How does evil enter the world? It starts with a lie. A lie is a false picture of reality. Evil is born when man puts his hand to shaping the world in the image of the lie. He believes the lie is the truth, and refashions the world to conform to the lie. Needless to say AND sad to say,  but evil causes great suffering in the world. This happens on an individual level, say, murder, hatred, fighting etc. and on a corporate level like Nazism or Communism. Clear thinkers, meaning those who know the difference between truth, between reality, and a lie are obligated to fight the evil when they confront it.  I'm not fighting you.  I'm fighting the EVIL spirits that try to control.  I can!  Ephesians 6:10-18 tells me to put on the whole armour of God that I may be able to stand when the enemy/devil comes. 

I have to take up for OUR BOARD and OUR POSTERS!
