A hug to start off the week!!!
Hugging you all today and wishing for you a great week!!!! The opposite of being self-centered is to be Christ-centered. In other words, what He wants, is what I want. What pleases Christ is what I desire. We must lay aside our personal ambitions and desires and enter into a relationship with Him. If we truly are to have fellowship with Him, and not just put on a show, we will have a desire to open up and give of ourselves - in all aspects of ourselves....our time, our attention, our love, etc. We can never out give God. Whatever we give will come back to us. It is that law of reciprocity.
("Give, and it shall be given to you; good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the measure you use it will be measured back to you." Luke 6:38)

This week has been stewardship week at our church and our church seeks out ways we can give back to God not just by tithes but giving of ourselves and time to our community not just our church! And this is the time when we plan the whole next year of how we do just that.
It is so important to be a servant - and feels so wonderful to serve HIM by serving others!
The book of Mark shows us just what an awesome servant Jesus was!
You are so right we can NEVER out give God!! His Grace and Mercy are over flowing!
