I've just made homemade enchiladas, refried beans and will have chips and salsa to go with it if anyone wants it.  I had salmon out to make salmon patties (just cause I had TEAL ROSE on my mind, she loves SALMON so...) but when I got to the grocery store my mind changed completely and I just had to come home and make enchiladas, so I guess I'll make the salmon patties tomorrow night.

What are you having for DINNER tonight???

I made pintos and cornbread yesterday for today.  I knew if I ate anything it would have to be soft.  So far...I have not eaten anything and it is not likely I will be eating much.  You have a great evening!!!

How did your dental visit go?  I prayed for you.  I hope you handled everything well.  I hate going to the dentist too.  I love my dentist, but it's just the thought of having someone's hands in my mouth and that stupid salava sucker thing.....ewwwwww, it's just gross.

It went good.  I didn't feel a thing.  I knew that prayers went up because it was easy.  I wasn't even too nervous.  I have taken my pain pill and am probably going to bed early tonight.

We had hamburger steak and salad. IT was pretty good for a change. I usually have trouble with the textureo f ground meat. It went down fairly well tonight. I used the forman and took mine off before it got too dry.

I fixed country fried steak with mashed potatoes and gravy and green beans.  Not exactly an ideal meal for someone who had WLS, but we can still enjoy these things in moderation (plus I ate my meat and green beans first then a few bites of the potatoes and gravy...it was gooood).  I don't make a habit of eating that way though.

I made cabbage and corn bread and baked pork chops.  We also had squash pickles that a friend made.  Good, good, good.
