QUESTION?
I became "aware" of my tailbone after I lost about 80 lbs. Mine doesn't hurt but I so feel it when I still, particularly for long periods of time. My surgeon said it was normal and that I would eventually just get used to it. But as for it hurting...you should probably mention that to you doctor. That can't be right. Give them a call today and let us know what they have to say about it since so many people are experiencing the same thing.

OH my do I know how your feeling.. It is a very uncomfy feeling in your tailbone.. I went through that for about a month. Even stole an executive chair at work thinking the more padding mite help... NOT.. But it has gotten better. Not enough "Junk In Ya Truck" is the reason it's probably hurting, but I would mention it to your doc.
