OUR EXCITING SAT NIGHT!!!!!!!

My husband won a 2008 Mercedes Benz.....he was in a drawing at Tunica Ms....Horseshoe casino...only 100 entries.  They drew 10 names out of a rolling cage thingy...his was picked first....then he got to go on stage first (at Bluesville) and pick one of 10 canister things filled with confetti....he chose number 11 (there wasnt a number 10) because it was his old baseball number....so after the other 9 people got theirs, they were lined up on stage and told to pull a string on the bottom of their canister on the count of 3....hubby's popped and confetti went everywhere....he dropped to down to a squat with his hands on his head (this i'm told by the casino event cordinator) cause I was in the room for two reasons...i didnt want to jinx him...and i really didnt have anything nice enough to wear cause it was kinda dressy!  all my clothes are too big (not complaining lol and I dont want to really buy anything yet)...so......he calls me on the phone and says come to Bluesville...i figured he may have won $1000 cause all the ten won that.  Got there, and a woman greets me and says your husband just won the car!  they took our pics with it (i'll try to post when i get them)....ok so here's the deal....we had 30 minutes to decide if we wanted to
A:  Keep the car...worth $77,000 and PAY $26,000 in car taxes, fees and federal income tax!
or
B.  Take $50,000 in cash (nothing taken out of that as it was already cause of the car's retail value)
We ended up taking the cash since we have 5 kids, 2 of them in college, 1 starting college next fall and another starting college the following fall.

We were SO SHOCKED!  we are still just excited LOL.....just had to share.  Oh and i lost 3 lbs from friday to sunday!  bonus for me lol!!!

but the only reason we went cause its a 3 hr drive is we thought the odds were so good.  And he got entered by his casino host, she's really nice, and thought we'd make a little get away trip out of it.
