Back Home!! from SC

Hi everybody!!!    Maxie and I went to Greenville SC. this weekend. The trees were beautiful, it was windy and cool.We stayed at the Hampton Inn in Simpsonville,very nice room. Then we went to see my neice Mary and husband Jeff. She cooked a wonderful dinner for us. Maxie watched the ballgame and I went to sleep early. That was a loonnnngggg  ride. Today  I drove back a round trip 640 miles. Oh the gas there was $1.92 a gal. Gotta work tomorrow but off Tuesday. Everyone have a good night and a great week. Love Ellen

Welcome Back.

Speaking of the price of gas...I saw it today in Huntsville at the Wal-Mart on Sparkman for $2.11 a gallon. Unfortuantely, my tank is still almost full. I just hope the prices don't go up before I need gas again!

Speaking of the trees...this fall, the foilage has be so beautiful. Driving through the mountains around Huntsville today, the trees are so beautiful. The colors are so bright and vibrant. I would love to take a road trip to the Smokies about now....I bet it is gorgeous.

Glad to hear you had a safe trip.  It must have been really nice up in SC this time of the year.  I got gas today for $1.99.  I still had a half a tank but when I saw that price I knew I had to fill my truck up.  You just never know when it's going to go back up.  I am hoping it holds off because I am traveling to Atlanta for Thanksgiving.
